I strongly oppose the recent statutory intrusions into these rights enacted by S.55 (Act 94), S.221 (Act 97) and H.422 (Act 92). "
7/27/2020 from GoVT FB page: "I am late getting started, as I was assured by Vermont GOP that I would not have a primary to contend with. At the last minute, I was scuppered and now face primary competition from the Colchester Republican Chair's son (nothing to see here...). I committed the heinous crime of speaking out against Phil Scott's abysmal record on gun rights, right-to-life and his labeling Vermonters as racists."
"I am not going down without a fight. I am unapologetically pro-2A, pro-life and pro-Trump. I will seek to vote to repeal all of Scott's anti-2A legislation: S.55 (Act 94), S.221 (Act 97) and H.422 (Act 92) and I will never vote for any law that I feel would infringe any of your federal or state constitutional rights. Period."
"I grew up in a working-class town in northern England, where guns are illegal (the criminals still have them, though, of course). I know what it's like to go to bed every night fearing for your safety. That's why 26 years ago I moved to the US and naturalized as a citizen of this amazing country. Unfortunately, I see this country becoming more like my birth country every day, and that is why I am running for office - we cannot let that happen. The last bastion of freedom must stand."
