Reasonable gun safety measures can save lives and aren't mutually exclusive with a vibrant hunting culture. As a mother of two, I am particularly sensitive to school safety. I do not want to see metal detectors at Champlain Elementary. Through reasonable gun control, such as background checks, red flag laws, and waiting periods, we can keep our community safe, without it feeling like a prison." |
